Philippe J. Mathieu

Philippe J. Mathieu is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Prima Res Capital. Philippe founded PRC in 2014 after more than 10 years experience as a trader with leading Wall Street investment banks and hedge funds in New York and London.

He started is career in finance with JP Morgan in M&A before joining Goldman Sachs in the FICC macro trading desk where he built up a proprietary trading book in real estate. He also worked as senior trader and managed large trading books in global equities at BlueCrest Capital and JP Morgan CIO.

Philippe holds a Masters Degree (LLM / MBA) from Columbia University in New York. He attended a program in Statistics and Econometrics at Massachussetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston. Philippe also received recently a certificate from Stanford University in innovation technology (I2M program). He is a Fulbright scholar and holds numerous awards.

Philippe is a tennis player (1ère serie) and ski freerider in Mont Blanc area.
